The Central Powers were one of the two warring factions in WWI, composed of the German Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Ottoman empire, and the kingdom of Bulgaria. This alignment originated in the Triple Alliance, and fought against Allied Powers that had formed around the Triple Entente.

The central powers in WWI: Source are much like their allied counterparts. Aside from having somewhat improved weapons, they are otherwise equal. The Central Powers in WWI: Source are focused around the German speaking (e.g. From Germany, western Austro-Hungary, and parts of what are now Poland and the Czech Republic) soldiers and battles they participated in.
